I'm too lazy to research
all of this. This is just a visual tour - rather random at
that - of historic Denver, Golden, Boulder, Aurora and other
"Denver metro" motels and buildings. Just to give you a
flavor of this great city. I believe all of the motels
were along Colfax Ave. (historic Rt. 40). I make no
representations about the safety one way or another of any
motel. The pictures are just to show the beautiful neon or
Googie architecture. Unfortunately, I took most of the pictures

Mid-Century Modern/Googie gas stations. Were they
originally Sinclair Stations? Someone know? |
